After 2 months with our paw-fect pooch, we are going to have to say goodbye to Cupid in less than a weeks’ time as the Gromit Unleashed 2 trail ends on Sunday 2nd September.
Since Cupid arrived on the 2nd July, he has been the top dog in Bradley Stoke with thousands of visitors coming to visit him each day. They haven’t just been local visitors either, we’ve had people come from Italy, Scotland and the Isle of White! It will be such a shame to see him go but luckily it won’t be for too long! Cupid will be back on show at the Greatest Dog Show on Earth 2 from Saturday 15th September at the Mall Cribbs Causeway with all his other friends including Gromit P. Sullivan, Pickles McPrickles and Rocket Man.
As this is his last week living with us, we are going to make sure it is a star studded one! As a treat to all our staff, we are planning a Goodbye Gromit BBQ which will once again make our lovable pooch the star of the show. Alongside this, we are expecting an influx of visitors to make the final push to get all the sculptures ticked off the map! Who knows within the crowd maybe some more famous faces – we’ve already had the major and a local MP visit – who else could come by?
If you are heading down to visit Cupid this week, make sure you snap a selfie, say hi to Mr Sprinkles and pop into our office for a little treat. We have lots of treats inside for the avid Gromit fan from colouring sheets for children to a wall full of sculpture selfies and an original Shaun in the City sculpture…but which one?
