During May, we held a ‘Virtual Pet Show’ in aid of St Peter’s Hospice to raise vital funds for end-of-life care.
The pet show welcomed animals big and small from cats and dogs to horses, alpacas, and even a tortoise.
Within three weeks of entries being open, the Pet-A-Palooza competition received over 100 entries into the 8 categories. The most popular of which was ‘Perfect Poser’ receiving over a fifth of the entries making it the most highly contested category.
Entries closed on Friday 28 May and all photos were passed onto the external judges for shortlisting. On Tuesday 1 June, all the judges came together at our office to share their top 3 and collectively decide on the 8 category winners.
It took some debating, but they finally came to a decision. The winner of each category was as follows:
- Big and Beautiful: Vinnie G
- Cutest Puppy: Vinnie Q
- Golden Oldie: Tommy
- Perfect Poser: Ted
- Look-a-Likes: Bungle (a.k.a. Del Boy!)
- Purrfect Cat: Cosmo
- Small and Cute: Albie
- To the Resue: Nelly

With the category winners determined, it was now down to us to pick our favourite and crown ‘Best in Show’.
It was a closely run race, with a matter of votes between first and third but Vinnie G took the crown to become the Pet-A-Palooza champion.
