On Tuesday 24th November 2015, the nation’s top accountants gathered at the British Accountancy Awards to recognises innovative business practices and celebrate professional excellence within the world of accountancy.
This year, we were nominated for two awards, Independent Firm South West and Business in the Community. Mike Dunkley, and his wife Gill, attended the ceremony held at The Brewery London and were delighted to win the prestigious Independent Firm of the Year: South West award.
Mike explained that winning this award was a “true demonstration of the team’s hard work and dedication to not only the business but the clients.” He went on to say that the “calibre of entries for an award of this level is exceptional so to be recognised in this way is an incredible achievement and will help us to show current and prospective clients that we continue to deliver an award-winning, professional service”.
Accountancy Age Editor Kevin Reed had this to say about the winning practice “Many congratulations to Dunkley’s. The judges said the firm was very focused on its marketplace and was making good inroads into it. They fought off some strong regional competition.”
Entries to the awards were assessed on criteria such as growth, professionalism and innovation, areas in which we have had much success in recent years. This achievement proves we have what it takes to be the best, so what will we do next?
