The Position
Assisting in our Payroll Bureau to deliver a high quality of payroll preparation to a large portfolio of clients. As an assistant you would be required maintain payroll records, ensuring compliance, company policies and regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling payroll queries and calculations. The position will require strong interpersonal skills, a professional manner and have a genuine interest in supporting the payroll function.
An outline of the job and what it will entail is stated below:
• Running end to end payroll.
• Troubleshooting ad hoc payroll issues for clients.
• Pay calculation checks for the audit department.
• Set up of new payrolls and pension schemes.
• Calculating wage increments, overtime payments, annual leave and public holiday pay and sick pay.
• Keeping Workflow reporting up to date.
• Analysing and reporting on payroll data.
• Running the end-to-end payroll Experience Required:
• Proven experience working in a similar Payroll Admin, Payroll Assistant role.
• Excellent IT skills
• Attention to detail.
• Excel proficient, including creating and formatting spreadsheets.
• PC, Microsoft literate.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Able to work as part of a team and share knowledge.
• Used to working in a busy environment, and working to strict deadlines.
• Pay circle Experience desirable but not essential.
