On 2nd July, we will welcome a Gromit sculpture back to Bradley Stoke as part of The Grand Appeal’s Gromit Unleashed 2 trail taking place in Bristol this summer.
A sculpture of the iconic character is set to go on display outside of our offices in support of Bristol Children’s Hospital and the Special Care Baby Unit at St Michael’s Hospital.
2018 marks the third year we have supported The Grand Appeal’s award-winning sculpture trails. In 2013 we sponsored the ‘Two Eds are better than one’ Gromit as part of the first Gromit Unleashed trail and in 2015 we sponsored ‘Shaun of the Jungle’ as part of the Shaun in the City trail.
From Monday 2nd July until Sunday 2nd September 2018, over 60 original sculptures painted by artists will descend on Bristol and its surrounding areas.
Returning to Bristol, and Bradley Stoke, for his second starring role in the award-winning charity’s sculpture trail is Nick Park’s much loved character Gromit, but this time he’s not alone… The loveable canine will be joined by his pal Wallace and arch nemesis Feathers McGraw!
Over the coming months, we will be able to reveal more about what is in store as part of our involvement. We are still in the process of finding out which Gromit we will have so all we can say now is ‘expect the unexpected!’.
Everyone is very excited to be involved and hope that you will be too. Now the secret is out, help us spread the word, share the fun and get ready for what is set to be a fantastic summer!
“We are really excited to be playing a part in such a high-profile Bristol-led event. As a business we are looking forward to inviting our clients, friends from the business world and local community to our offices to embrace this opportunity. Giving back to the local area is very important to us as it is strongly rooted in our company values, so we are thrilled to be a big part of The Grand Appeal’s initiative”
